Refund Policy

At LinkWatchr, we want you to be satisfied with our Service. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are handled.

All payments for LinkWatchr are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. This means Paddle is the entity that processes your payment and handles refund transactions on our behalf.


1. Refund Calculation

All refunds are subject to the following calculation:

  1. Used credits are non-refundable. Any credits you have already consumed cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
  2. Refund eligibility is calculated in blocks of 10,000 credits. Only complete, unused blocks of 10,000 credits are eligible for refund. Partially used blocks are not refundable.
  3. A 20% processing fee is deducted from the refundable amount. This covers administrative and payment processing costs.
  4. You are never eligible for a full refund — the 20% processing fee always applies.

Example: You subscribe to the $99/month plan, which includes 80,000 credits.

  • You use 10,000 credits → 70,000 unused credits (7 blocks of 10,000). The value of 70,000 credits is $86.63 (70,000 ÷ 80,000 × $99). After the 20% processing fee ($17.33), your refund would be $69.30.
  • You use 15,000 credits → 65,000 unused, but only 60,000 credits (6 complete blocks) are eligible. The value of 60,000 credits is $74.25 (60,000 ÷ 80,000 × $99). After the 20% processing fee ($14.85), your refund would be $59.40.
  • You use all 80,000 credits → you are not eligible for any refund.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase. After 14 days, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable.

Refund eligibility is calculated using the formula in Section 1 — only complete blocks of 10,000 unused credits are refundable, minus the 20% processing fee. If you have used all credits, you are not eligible for a refund.

When you cancel your subscription:

  • You retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made
  • Unused credits from your subscription do not roll over

2.1 Renewals

Subscription renewals (both monthly and annual) are non-refundable. If you do not wish to be charged for a renewal, you must cancel your subscription before the next billing date.


3. Annual Subscriptions

You may request a refund within 30 days of your initial annual subscription purchase. After 30 days, annual subscription fees are non-refundable.

The same refund calculation applies (see Section 1) — only complete blocks of 10,000 unused credits are refundable, minus the 20% processing fee.


4. One-Time Credit Purchases

Additional credits purchased outside of a subscription plan may be refunded within 30 days of purchase, subject to the following:

  • Used credits are never refundable.
  • Refund eligibility is calculated on a per 10,000 credit scale. You are only eligible for a refund on complete blocks of 10,000 unused credits.
  • The 20% processing fee applies to the refundable amount.

Example: You purchase 20,000 credits. If you have used 9,000 credits, you have 11,000 unused — which rounds down to 10,000 credits eligible for refund. If you have used 11,000 or more credits, you are not eligible for any refund.

After 30 days from the date of purchase, one-time credit purchases are non-refundable regardless of usage.


5. Exceptions

We may issue refunds outside of the above terms in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same purchase, we will refund the duplicate charge in full
  • Service outage: If the Service was unavailable for an extended period due to an issue on our end, we may offer a pro-rata credit for the affected period
  • Technical issues: If a technical error on our end prevented you from using the Service and we were unable to resolve it in a reasonable time, we may offer a partial refund or credit at our discretion

6. EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

By using the Service (including consuming credits) before the withdrawal period expires, you acknowledge that the refund calculation in Section 1 applies — used credits are non-refundable and the 20% processing fee is deducted from any refundable amount.


7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at privacy@linkwatchr.com with:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of the charge
  • The reason for your refund request

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.


8. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and promptly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending investigation.


9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
